This includes both a free update in ver.3.0, as well as the game's first paid DLC featuring a single-player expansion. The returning maps are Piranha Pit and Camp Triggerfish with Wahoo World being the new one.

Nintendo also revealed that a big update will be hitting Splatoon 2 in April. There will also be Rank X, which will be higher than S+.

This summer, a new single-player will release for Splatoon 2, and its thefirst paid DLC developed for the ink shooter.

Coming out in mid-2018, the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion stars Agent 8, an Octoling with no memory.

The Octo Expansion is an entirely new story mode campaign with 80 stages. New stories will shed new light on Splatoon characters and add to the game's overall lore.

A small number of residents also reported power outages, though electricity providers are yet to confirm any supply disruptions . Many customers across the United Kingdom have been urged to use as little water as possible while the problems are fixed.

It follows Agent 8, an amnesiac that looks like an Octoling who finds themself waking in a sprawling underground system.

Complete the campaign to unlock Octolings (Girl or Boy) as playable characters in multiplayer* battles.

This is an interesting approach because like we said, Splatoon 2 is a great multiplayer game so we would have expected Nintendo to launch something more multiplayer related.
