On the first day of its budget session, the state Assembly saw a ruckus when the Congress members staged a protest during the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan's speech.

K V Reddy, who represents Nalgonda assembly constituency, threw his headphone at the podium, but it missed the governor and hit the legislative council chairman, Goud on his face, causing bleeding just below his right eye. His right eye is completely swollen and the dressing has been done to his eye. Those suspended from the House include Opposition leader K Jana Reddy and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Soon after the House assembled Legislative Affairs minister Mr T Harish Rao read two separate motions dealing with expulsion and suspension. They came to the House pre-planned to create disturbances. "Who would have taken responsibility had the Governor been hurt if he was hit by the flying headphones?" Reacting to the suspension from state assembly, Congress MLAs spoke to media and said that 'KCR and his party is attempting to weaken the voice of opposition and so, they expelled us in a dramatic way.' The Congress MLAs also have sought high command's permission to submit their resignations against this development.

Another top Trump aide exits White House over security issue
His exit comes two weeks after White House communications director Hope Hicks, also a long-serving staffer, stepped down. McEntee worked with Trump from the earliest days of his presidential bid, joining the Trump team in 2015.

"In fact, making such false allegations against the honourable members will only lower the dignity of the House", he said.

Reddy had defended his actions saying he had no other option. Sources said the TRS government was consulting legal experts on this issue. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi strongly condemned the Congress members' behaviour in the Assembly. Reports state that Goud was sitting adjacent to the Governor while the latter addressed the joint sitting of the legislature. The state has won several laurels in the country and the world for its pro-poor initiatives, such as Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, round-the-clock free power supply to agriculture and other developmental programmes.
