The safety market has been stunningly slow in free agency this offseason.

The 26-year-old is set to make his first free-agent visit with the Cincinnati Bengals, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. projects the younger Reid will be selected within the first two rounds of this month's draft.

This has led to speculation that Reid was being blackballed by teams due to his kneeling protests during the national anthem.

Puigdemont urges Spain to open negotiations over Catalonia
Barley said it was now up to Spain to prove their embezzlement charges against Puigdemont , which she said "won't be easy". Katarina Barley told daily Sueddeutsche on Saturday the judges' decision was "absolutely right" and what she'd expected.

"I said before, I stand by what I've done", Reid told reporters. I can go to sleep at night confident that I did what I was called to do. I'm just going to consider different ways to be active, different ways to bring awareness to the issues of this country, to improve the issues happening in this country.

Reid played in 13 games with 12 starts for the 49ers last season, finishing with 52 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass defences. But his visit with the Bengals indicates there might be some movement on that front. Reid, 26, a five-year veteran and one-time Pro Bowler, has a projected market value of $8.6 million per year according to Spotrac, but had yet to receive a single invite, let alone contract offer, from an National Football League team this offseason. Reid was a big part of the kneeling protest which made many owners stay clear of him.

Reid continued to take on new roles playing strong safety for the rest of the season showing off how versatile he could be. The 2013 first round pick has started 69 games over his five-year career with the 49ers, accumulating 264 tackles, 10 interceptions, and 36 pass defences. Tartt then also suffered a broken forearm, which opened the door for impressive rookie safety Adrian Colbert. That is if they do decide to sign him.
