Cooper was not pleased to find out about Dern's weight troubles and took to Twitter to air her frustrations.

The UFC has released episode 7 of the UFC 224 Embedded series, before the fight card begins tonight. She has a proven history of beating the best competitors in the world when they hit the mat.

Joyce has also represented England in Tests; becomes first after Kepler Wessels to represent two nations in Test match cricket. Although no one knew it at the time, Ireland's win perversely damaged the cause of aspiring cricket nations.

Dern is 6-0 as a mixed martial artist. Dern stepped onto the scale and was closer to the flyweight limit than strawweight which is the 116-pound.

In 2016, Dern weighed 118.8 pounds for a Legacy FC bout, and in 2017, tipped the scale at 120 pounds for an LFA bout. She came at whopping 123 pounds, seven pounds over the non-title limit for the weight class. The fights went on as planned under a catchweight, and Dern won both. The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) fined Dern 10-percent of her purse, while the UFC docked her an additional 20-percent. Dern wanted to make the quick turn around for this fight at UFC 224 because it was in her adopted hometown of Rio de Janerio. The combined 30-percent of Dern's show money will reportedly go to Cooper. Opponents sound off and face off: strawweights Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Cooper; former champions Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort; middleweights Jacare Souza and Kelvin Gastelum; and women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Raquel Pennington.
