Dakota Ray had been entered as a missing and exploited child since April 15, 2018.

A day after a statewide alert, a SC toddler has been found safe and her parents have been arrested for kidnapping her.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children along with the Camden Police Department in SC are asking for the public's assistance to find 2 year-old Dakota Ray.

On Christmas Eve past year the couple shared a post in response to criticisms they had received from people concerned they were living in a motel. Information also showed they were at a gas station in Marshall, Minn., on Monday, and the BCA said it was possible they were in the Twin Cities metro area.

The family are believed to be travelling in a 1996 Ford Aerostar van and frequently changing license plates to avoid detection.

According to the Camden Police Department in SC, it is possible that they may be begging or asking strangers for money. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
