Donovan Mitchell - Does Mitchell have one more great game in him?

The Jazz are now in a situation where they will play a waiting game with their point guards before Tuesday's contest. The Jazz countered with a 116-108 road win in Game 2 Wednesday night to square the series. However, the team came back by convincingly beating Utah, 113-92, in Salt Lake City on Friday then following it up with this second straight win at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Houston's 39 first quarter points is the most given up by Utah in any quarter in a playoff game this season.

The Utah Jazz made a dream come true for a lifelong fan who is now on hospice care.

Houston is 36-3 when they hold opponents under 100 points, while Utah is 37-7. He goes left and likes to step back. It didn't help that they struggled with their offensive efficiency in their Game 4 matchup as well. If Houston doesn't shoot well, they often fall asleep on defense and lack energy.

Mitchell would eventually foul out with less than a minute remaining in regulation but received a standing ovation as he finished with a team-high 25 points, nine rebounds and two assists while going 8-for-24 from the field. On the season at home, the Rockets averaged nearly 114 points on 46 percent shooting from the field. If he does suit up, it will be his first game of the series for the Jazz after missing the first three with an ankle injury. That suffocating Rockets defense reduced them to just 38.6 percent shooting from the field and a mere 24 percent from downtown. They hit 79.2 percent at the charity stripe. It was Paul's turn to lead the way with 27 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.

Exum had six points from 14 minutes on the court.

Roads were shut down in the area of Oso Parkway, Moulton Parkway and La Paz Road, the Orange County Sheriff's Department tweeted. A CBS LA reporter noted that investigators were taking photos of every vehicle leaving a parking lot across from the scene.

Jazz are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs.

The Rockets are now back in Houston looking ahead to close out the series. "They got a good chance". Both are listed as questionable for Game 4. The goal is to win a championship, of course, but doing so would most likely require them to first confront the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the postseason.

The nightmare to which Paul is referring, of course, is the Western Conference semifinals in 2015.

In the lone Jazz victory, Utah played as solid a defensive game as a team can play on Houston. And less than nine minutes into the game, the Jazz were down 20. If there's anyone besides Mitchell who's capable of putting together a huge fantasy night, it's Jingles. Point guard Ricky Rubio hasn't played a game in this series because of a hamstring injury he suffered in the last round against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6.

"I've been here before 3-1, and (expletive) went bad real quick", Paul, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on Sunday, said.
