During an interview backstage, Payne confirmed that his debut album will be released this fall.
"I'm sure there's time for that to come back around", he said, to massive cheers from the crowd.
After going solo, Payne released his first single in 2017.
"I'm brutally honest about it", he said.
But he also spoke about having a "fantastic life" now.
He said: "I've got a good mix of handsome people on my album, which is wonderful". "They don't have to be a psychologist - just people who are friendly, someone to talk to".
