Now, TMZ reports her estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, was in a vehicle accident on Monday in Florida.

Samantha's boyfriend Mark told the outlet that they were driving in Florida near a toll booth when they had a "paparazzi confrontation". Her mum Doria Ragland arrived in London on Wednesday for moral support ahead of the nuptials, and teachers and pupils at Immaculate Heart High School and Middle School in Los Angeles, where the actress was a former student, will host a celebration to mark Markle's big day.

The news comes after reports Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, 73, has undergone heart surgery following reports of a heart attack and confirmation will no longer be attending his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry this weekend.

Samantha, who revealed she had bought a wedding gift despite not being invited, said her relationship with Meghan was "strained". Her estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, said she would not stop talking to the media before the royal wedding. 'Meghan's way out of her league to tell me I can't speak'.

She continued, "She's not qualified to suggest that I don't [speak out] under any law in this country".

Grant added: "She doesn't have a relationship with anyone in the family". As The Sun notes, Samantha has not received an invitation to the royal wedding on Saturday.

The Sun also reported that Samantha Markle had "slammed claims" that Kensington Palace was assisting their father financially during his hospital stay.

It was alleged he then staged photos of himself looking at images of Prince Harry and his daughter on a public computer.
