Samsung Galaxy S9 Sunrise Gold, Burgundy Red Color Variants, Availability Announced

Both the smartphones are now available in three colors - Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and Midnight Black.

Samsung has announced two new colours - Burgundy Red and Sunrise Gold for its flagship Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones. The gadgets went on sale without prior announcements. The new Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red color options join the existing Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple options.

After the launch of the ARCore support on Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, users will have to install the ARCore app from the Play Store along with any app that will use the SDK to try out the features.

The South Korean tech giant introduced Burgundy Red with last year's Galaxy S8. Other markets including Europe and even Mexico will see these colors "soon". Samsung says that the Sunrise Gold color is Samsung's first smartphone to feature a stain gloss finish which "which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer" to evoke feelings of vibrancy and calm. For now, both the new colour variants, Burgundy Red and Sunrise Gold will ship to limited markets.

The Galaxy S9 version will cost 957,000 won ($888), and the Galaxy S9 Plus will come with a price tag of 1.05 million won.
