Skuli Morgensen, founder and CEO of WOW Air said: 'I am thrilled to broaden WOW air's offerings and bring low fare global flight service to India.

The first budget airline services from the United Kingdom and USA to India are set to take flight later this year.

WOW air will be the second European airline in the world to deploy the most modern long-haul aircraft, the Airbus A330neo, for the route from New Delhi.

"While the Wow basic introductory fare will be priced at Rs. 13,499 with taxes, the "Wow premium" fares at the other end will be priced from Rs. 46,599 onwards including taxes", the airline's founder and chief executive officer Skuli Mogensen said. However, this one-way fair under the "Wow basic" category includes all taxes but excludes meal and check in baggage, which will be charged separately.
