$315.3M Powerball victor from N.J. has stepped forward

A New Jersey resident has come forward as the victor of a Powerball jackpot worth $315 million. Souami thought he might have won the $50,000 prize, but when the validation slip said jackpot, his heart began to race and struggled to fill out the claim form.

It's unknown if the Souami had chose to claim the lump sum or take their winnings over time. "I like the numbers and I always play with those numbers", he said.

Souami, originally from Africa, moved to the United States in 1996.

A lottery official confirmed the victor is from northern New Jersey but didn't say where. He said was on his way to a carwash when he saw a 7-Eleven and stopped in to check his Powerball tickets.

Kid Cudi returned the favor and appeared on West's album 808's & Heartbreak as well as his recent track " Ghost Town" from ye. The album includes samples of jazz and Kurt Cobain's " Burn The Rain ", from the Montage Of Heck posthumous compilation.

He's retired from the job and plans to spend the money to pay off his house and put his two children through college.

The owners of the ShopRite received a $30,000 check for selling the winning ticket.

This marks the second major lottery win in New Jersey this year. The $533 million haul won by Vernon resident Richard Wahl in April is the highest jackpot payout in recorded in New Jersey.
