He added: "I think everything will be resolved before the start of the World Cup, that's what I want".

"I believe and I hope that everything will be resolved before the start of the World Cup", Alisson said after Brazil's 3-0 friendly win over Austria on Sunday.

The Roma star has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer as the club look to replace Loris Karius with a top-class goalkeeper ahead of next season.

The Roma custodian wants his future sorted out before the start of the World Cup, enabling him to give Brazil his fullest commitment and concentration. "If it doesn't get resolved before our first game [of the World Cup], then we'll talk about it after because during it, my mind is only going to be 100 percent focused on Brazil".

How the Trump-Kim summit eventually came together
Trump yesterday declared that the young dictator had a "one-time shot" to bring his country in from the cold with the summit. Victor Teo, professor at the University of Hong Kong, believes "North Koreans are upbeat, but careful at the same time".

Brazil goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel says Alisson Becker is happy at AS Roma.

"Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours", he said.

"There are options that we are working on, together with Roma and with respect for my club", he told Globoesporte.

"Alisson can be amongst the best in the world, alongside Courtois, De Gea and [Manuel] Neuer".

Alisson, 25, kept 22 clean sheets in 49 outings for Roma in Serie A and the Champions League last season, helping them to the semi-finals of the European competition against the odds.
