The Rapide AMR will be sold globally from the end of this year for a cool $240,000. Aston Martin

Aston says the resulting auto, with the significant changes to the aerodynamics, brakes and suspension, is "more focused, agile and dynamic".
The AMR-badged, four-door Rapide follows hot on the heels of the DB11 AMR (which we've driven in Germany), and is based on the concept shown at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2017, retaining the gaping front grille and boasting circular daytime running lights that reference recent Zagato models. The production version of the Aston Martin Rapide AMR was shown at Geneva past year and is limited to only 210 cars.
Its design has changed little from the concept vehicle shown at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, with the large and aggressive front grille, reminiscent of the extreme track-only Vantage AMR Pro and the daytime running lights look to be inspired by recent Zagato models.
The Rapide AMR continues to use Aston's naturally aspirated V12, and it now produces 580 hp and 465 pound-feet (630 Newton-meters), versus 552 hp (412 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) from the version in the Rapide S.
The Rapide AMR sprints from 0-100km/h in the same 4.4 seconds as the Rapide S, and has a claimed top speed of 330km/h - not bad for a 1990kg luxury barge. They're the most potent brakes of a production Rapide so far, and they're combined with 21-inch wheels, a first in fact for any Aston Martin. There are also standard carbon-ceramic brake discs that have six-piston calipers in front and four-piston stoppers in the rear. An evolution of the brake cooling system used by the Vanquish S introduces new brake ducts and dust shields to help maintain consistently powerful stopping power.
There are three design schemes: Standard, Silhouette and Signature.
Trump Declares Oil Prices 'Too High,' Blames OPEC Still, U.S. output is now above that of top exporter Saudi Arabia, which currently churns out slightly above 10 million bpd. USA companies have filled some of the gap created by Venezuela, OPEC and non-OPEC producers including Russian Federation .
Standard and Silhouette schemes offer four colours - Mariana Blue, Scintilla Silver, Lightning Silver and Onyx Black - with the Standard scheme adding AMR Lime accents to the splitter, sills and rear diffuser. Silhouette drops the lime, and throws in a full-length China Grey or Clubsport White strip.
Meanwhile, the Signature scheme (pictured) teams Stirling Green exterior paint with Lime accents and a Lime stripe, which "draws the closest visual link to the Aston Martin Racing team".
These design schemes are reflected on the interior as well, available with either AMR Lime or Galena Silver welting and stitching.
Inside, the full-length carbon fiber console is flanked by Alcantara-clad seats. Each auto comes with a unique AMR inspection plaque, plenty of AMR branding and carbon sill plaques.
Also available for the first time as an option is a One-77 style steering wheel.
Customers who don't care for the three available design schemes can opt for a bespoke project commissioned by the Q by Aston Martin division. The Aston Martin Rapide AMR will be available globally with the exception of China and Russian Federation.
