Unfortunately, it seems the rumours of Black Ops 4ditching its season pass aren't true - the Black Ops Pass will bring a total of 12 new maps, plus five new zombie experiences and four exlusive characters for the new "Blackout" (battle royale) mode.
It will remain to be seen how long it will take for Activision to make the Black Ops Pass available standalone, or how much it will cost.
In anticipation of Black Ops 4 coming later this year, it was announced at the Sony was offering Black Ops 3 to PlayStation Plus subscribers free of charge. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more on Black Ops 4 during E3. However, Activision has made some significant changes with regard to how that content is sold.
And it's not the only update planned for the PS4, with Sony also confirming another deal tied to the launch of Black Ops 4. The Black Ops Pass will be available standalone at a later date, but to get it on day one and reap the immediate benefits, you gotta upgrade.
The Digital Deluxe edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4includes a download of the full game, the Black Ops pass, digital bonus items, 2,400 COD pints, and if pre-ordered, access to the private beta. The Pick 10 system is returning and will offer "super chunky choices" -as Vonderhaar chose to describe them as- through a new category called Gear which will allow high powered gear such as armor, stem packs, and more to be equipped.
