Some members of the crypto community were surprised Tuesday when the USA -based exchange startup Coinbase announced that it plans to list ethereum classic (ETC). The cryptocurrency exchange stated that it will announce a launch date for trading through its official blog and Twitter as the final testing phase of the technical integration is reached.

Coinbase Custody - the Custody team is planning to add support for deposits and withdrawals of Ethereum Classic.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a hard fork of the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, which was created as a result of a disagreement within the Ethereum community.

Coinbase will be providing support for Ethereum Classic across all geographies where it legally compliant.

The business, however, is not up to those levels but that doesn't mean it's bad, the opening day figures are still quite well. The film has opened better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dangal but those films released on way lesser screens than Toilet .

Well, we didn't see this coming. Additionally, Coinbase has credited everyone who had Ethereum balance during the hard fork in 2016 and did not withdraw.

Whilst it is not conclusive that this will happen, given the right climate and a well timed launch for the listing on Coinbase, we could see Ethereum Classic move back up to its all time height of $45.00, above all, it's a very exciting time indeed for both Coinbase and the Ethereum Classic project. A day ago, Binance listed TRX/USDT pair as support to Tron's Main Net migration. The network is known by some as "a continuation of the original ethereum blockchain" following a hard fork that reversed the losses stemming from the DAO.

"This will undoubtedly bring a new level of visibility to Ethereum Classic, which is a decentralized smart contract platform similar to Ethereum".

Ethereum Classic has also been in news for various other announcements off-late like the Thailand regulatory framework that was released recently permits ETC along with few other top cryptocurrencies. It is now the 18th most valuable digital currency and its market cap of approximately $1.5 billion is dwarfed by that of Ethereum ($53.3 billion) and of Bitcoin ($117.8 billion). So far things are all on the brighter side for this currency when the entire market is thriving to stabilize itself.
