Now, Google Home devices are getting even smarter with improved support for multiple queries.

At its annual developer conference, I/O 2018, Google had revealed that its smart speaker Google Home will get smarter in the future. But at this year's I/O, Google promised improvements to multiple commands that would require less verbosity and would allow more than two commands at a time. Today, that functionality is starting to go live.

Since last November, we have been able to issue two queries to our Google Home speakers at once and they would understand them.

In a tweet, Google said: "Now Google Home can perform up to three queries at a time, so you can get more done". That lead to unnatural sentences like "turn on the lights in the living room and turn on the lights in the kitchen". For example, you can not say, "Hey Google, turn on the lights in the living room and in the bedroom", since in the bedroom isn't a complete command.

The announcement about the update was done by the Made by Google Twitter page. But the additional new command support will be helpful particularly for connected households, where users may need to juggle more tasks?

As an extreme example, you can ask, "Ok Google, who was president when Kevin Durant was drafted into the National Basketball Association and what team drafted him?"

With this latest firmware update, though, Google can intelligently recognize these commands.
