The trip will coincide with Harry's Invictus Games in Sydney, which run from October 20 to October 28. Harry, who stayed glued to his wife's side the whole time, made Meghan lose her regal composure with some wisecrack - forcing her to turn away from the cameras as she burst into giggles.
More than 500 competitors from 18 nations will compete in 11 sports during the games, where the royal couple will each receive an Akubra hat specially crafted for them.
Bainimarama says the details of their program in Fiji will be announced in due course.
They were first pictured together at the opening ceremony for the event in Toronto previous year, and they cheered on competitors hoping to be chosen for the British team for Sydney a month before they were married.

Adorably, Prince Harry also gave Meghan a helping hand when it came to the all-important curtsey in front of the Queen.
On Thursday, the former actress will hone her new royal skills with her first solo public outing with the monarch.
"It's all about the monarchy". The Queen was given her own carriage and was the last to leave Buckingham Palace. "I have a feeling she's going to push the limits a little too much?!" wrote one of the social-media users.
