Bourdain, who died Friday in France in an apparent suicide at age 61, was an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump's immigration policies and a fierce defender of Hispanic workers. Bourdain had traveled with his best friend and fellow chef Éric Ripert.
Bourdain had been in the area filming an episode with his CNN crew for a segment on Alsatian food. "She was wonderful. So strong and fearless", Busia captioned an Instagram photo on Monday, June 11, of the 11-year-old performing on stage at DROM in New York City.
Robert De Niro uses F-bomb against Trump on live TV "I agree", Kushner said when asked about the De Niro moment, dropping an F-bomb of his own in relation to the president. De Niro threw his arms in the air defiantly as the crowd cheered and gave him a standing ovation.
"Mr. Ripert thought it was odd", waiter Maxime Voinson said in an interview.
There is a good deal of talk about how hard it was for Bourdain to maintain a relationship because he was always away and working on the show. "His friend was waiting at breakfast, and waiting and waiting", Mr. Voinson said. Inside, he found that Bourdain had killed himself in his bathroom. The two were separated at the time of his death.
"He was a diplomat", she said.
"He was an incredible guy". I really can't talk about him. He was brilliant and sharp and amusing.
"He is absolutely the last person in the world I would have ever dreamed would do something like this", Gladys Bourdain told The New York Times.
