Liverpool confirm departure of Can and Flanagan

Liverpool have announced that German midfielder Emre Can will leave the club at the end of this month, when his contract expires, on their official website.

Emre Can has officially left Liverpool at the end of his contract and is expected to join Juventus imminently.

The German global joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 for £10m and quickly rose in the ranks at Liverpool to become a first-team regular.

However, the Liverpool Echo report that the problems are not detrimental to the deal, easing fears that the Anfield outfit could pull out.
