Perpignan today confirmed the signing of Paddy Jackson, the former Ulster, and Irish star has signed a two-year deal with the French side.

The number 10 had his contract revoked by the IRFU earlier this year after a high-profile rape trial which saw them acquitted of all charges.

In a statement the club's director Christian Lanta said he welcomes the player and he described the fly half as a proven kicker and talented playmaker who will bring his global experience to the club.

"Paddy Jackson, in the tradition of Irish 10s, knows how to bring his individual qualities to benefit the collective; a proven kicker, a talented playmaker, Paddy can bring his global experience to the team".

Kentucky Fried What? KFC will test a vegetarian alternative in UK
In April, White Castle introduced a plant-based version of its cheese slider in its stores in New York, New Jersey and Chicago. KFC U.K. reportedly plans to add vegetarian fried chicken to its menu, as many consumers have switched to healthy lifestyle.

The news was confirmed on Friday morning.

Stuart Olding, who also had his contract revoked, has already agreed to sign with Brive in the PRO D2.

Now the 26-year-old will resume his playing career at Perpignan, who gained promotion to the Top 14 for the 2018/19 season, with the club's Sporting Director, Christian Lanta, hailing the qualities Jackson will bring to the side.
