Corey Harrison, the grandson of Richard "The Old Man" Harrison featured on History Channel's Pawn Stars, took to social media to mourn his grandfather's passing Monday morning.

The family of Richard Harrison, the wisecracking and often lovingly grumpy star of Pawn Stars, has died at the age of 77.

On Instagram, Rick Harrison posted that "The Old Man" Harrison passed away Monday morning after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

"He was referred to as the " the brains behind the brawn" of the pawn shop and was well known for his blunt advice.

The television star, known as "The Old Man" on Pawn Stars, has died, says his son Rick Harrison.
