Star Fox is coming to Ubisoft’s Starlink: Battle for Atlas

With games like Skull and Bones and Assassin's Creed Odyssey on the horizon for Ubisoft, you'd be forgiven if you forgot about its upcoming toys-to-life game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas will launch on October 16 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Ubisoft's store states that the Starter Edition for Nintendo Switch will retail for $74.99, but is not up for pre-order yet. "Our team created both a tech breakthrough and a new way to adapt the game on the fly to take on any challenge".

The video showcased the very first gameplay, with the main character exploring some absolutely handsome environments. Of course, we also see cinematics, including the reveal of a female character played by Léa Seydoux.

For those who aren't familiar with Starlink: Battle for Atlus, you can read up on the game's core details below along with mention of the Nintendo Switch exclusivity of the extra content and bonus missions. "We're thrilled to introduce Starlink: Battle for Atlas, the first new property created from the ground up at Ubisoft Toronto". Packs with pilots will be $7.99, weapons $9.99, and spaceships (with a starship, pilot, and weapon) for $24.99. The game will feature split-screen multiplayer for up to two players and seven "massive unique planets" to explore. In the trailer, a character is being attacked by enemy ships, so she calls for help, catching the attention of one Fox McCloud.
