Bandai Namco have today announced that the game will be released this winter and it will be coming to Nintendo Switch along with PS4, Steam and Xbox One. A PS3 version released exclusively in Japan a year later had some extra content that never made its way to the west. It also has some very pretty 2D animated cutscenes from Production I.G., the anime studio behind Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition announced - UPDATE #1: Platform confirmation, fact sheet and direct-feed trailer. The Definitive Edition will include all the additional content that Western fans never got the chance to play.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition features two new fully playable party members for North America; Patty Fleur, a young pirate searching for her lost memories, as well as Yuri's rival and best friend, Flynn Scifo.
