Mr Putin arrived for a three-day state visit during which he will attend the Qingdao Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation on the weekend.

Hours before he boarded Air Force One to fly to Quebec for the G7 meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump launched a series of fresh salvos at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and called on Russian Federation to be readmitted to the exclusive club of leading industrial nations.

Before departing the White House for the G-7 Summit in Charlevoix, Quebec, early Friday morning, Trump told reporters that he believed Russian Federation should be readmitted to the group.

He then pointed out the combined purchasing power of the Russian Federation and China-led Shanghai Co-operation Organisation outstripped the G7 which now includes Britain, the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, France and Germany.

Putin described the United States pullout from the nuclear deal as a "unilateral and illegal move" and declared Moscow will negotiate with other parties to the deal to keep it intact, Fars reported.

"All this gives me the grounds to believe that the dialogue can be constructive", Putin said.

'Once again, nothing concrete was said, ' Putin said, referring to the G7 statement.

During the meeting, President Mamnoon expressed the hope that all parties of the Iran nuclear deal would continue to implement the agreement and uphold their commitments.

SCO states also include four ex-Soviet central Asian republics and new members Pakistan and India.

Along with Deepti Sharma (32 off 28 balls), the skipper added 50 runs for the fourth wicket, but it didn't come at a fair clip. Despite the loss, opener Mithali Raj (23) kept on playing sensibly with new batswoman and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (24).

The Iranian president further described Washington's recent decision to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear agreement as "a recent example of the United States' unilateralism and indifference towards the opinions of the worldwide community".

He said he did not discuss a possible meeting venue with Trump but "many" countries including Austria were keen to help in organising such a summit.

Putin says counter-terrorism efforts are a priority for a regional grouping led by Moscow and Beijing.

Peskov said the possibility of a Vienna summit was also raised this week during talks in the city between Putin and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who has sought to present his country as a bridge between Russian Federation and the West.

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani has slammed United States attempts to impose its own policies on others, saying Washington's "unilateral sanctions" damage worldwide business.

"No matter what country has terrorists, we must strengthen our regional cooperation and not allow them to affect regional security", he told a press conference Friday, adding that the SCO bloc had stopped "hundreds" of terrorist acts.

"But, with that being said, Russian Federation should be in this meeting", he said.

Xi and Putin and others pledged their support of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal from which President Donald Trump withdrew the USA last month.
