Indian movies in China are flourishing and well received by the Chinese audiences. The business, however, is not up to those levels but that doesn't mean it's bad, the opening day figures are still quite well. The film reportedly earned about $2.35 million on Friday, followed by $3.55 million on Saturday and $3.16 on Sunday. The satirical comedy-drama retained its top spot on Sunday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 61.04 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about film's business in China saying it started off very well. He tweeted: "Market for well-made content-driven Indian films continues to bloom in China".

Toilet Hero raked in United States dollars 2.35 million on its 1st day at the Chinese Box Office.

Arsenal have until now confirmed the Bosman signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus whilst a £16m deal for Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund is close to completion.

The film has opened better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dangal but those films released on way lesser screens than Toilet.

Mumbai: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is overwhelmed with the love the audience in China has given to his film "Toilet Hero" - originally titled "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" - which has made over Rs 15 crore at the Chinese box office on its opening day. Akshay Kumar who is making his debut at the China box office has surely carved a memorable first attempt in the hearts of the people over there.
