U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that "these people" who enter the country, presumably without documents, need to be sent back immediately to where they came from without any judicial process.

He also claimed that undocumented immigrants commit more crimes than US citizens, and suggested that all undocumented immigrants "continuously get into trouble and do bad things".

The warehouse-like facility has holding pens made from chain-link fences on the inside separating the immigrants. In essence, the families will either be reunited before they are deported back to the unsafe communities they fled from. It will also put parents separated from their children in designated units where they will have easier access to communication, and ICE agents will coordinate travel planning and documentation with Health and Human Services personnel to make sure parents and children depart the United States together, the statement said.
