After being in the leaks from the last couple of months, the Vivo NEX was officially listed on Vivo's official website ahead of the launch. The Vivo Nex S and Nex A also feature 7.1-channel 3D audio.

Hate the notch? You'll love the new Vivo Nex.

"The launch of NEX finally brings an end to the industry's pursuit of a true bezel-less device". We were expecting something more exciting from a top of the line smartphone, but perhaps its real-life performance will surprise us. The NEX and NEX Ultimate phones can be availed in colors like Diamond Black and Ruby Red.

The Vivo NEX comes with above mid-range specifications featuring a front-facing fingerprint sensor. Vivo says that it has established AI joint laboratories with partners with an aim to provide a brand new user experience through AI intelligence. There's also a dual-camera (12MP + 12MP) on the rear that uses AI to offer calculated suggestions - like a different ISO - to help users take the best picture of the subject in the frame.

The Vivo NEX will come with a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView "Zero Screen" Display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.24 percent and 2,316 x 1,080 pixels screen resolution.

The back of the phone gets more conventional.

Another wonderful feature of the Vivo NEX is that it has a pop-up selfie camera that remains hidden under the top bezel of the phone.

Scottish Nationalist Thrown Out of Parliament in Brexit Protest
When we came to Westminster first in 2015 and then again a year ago , we promised that Scotland's voice would not be silenced. Parliament has become more and more acrimonious as the process of leaving the European Union exacerbates divisions.

The Screen SoundCasting Technology makes it possible for NEX to replace the earpiece speaker. The phone features a glass and metal build and that revolutionary fingerprint sensor just underneath the screen.

Form and function can not be separated and in the ultimate bezel-less phone, the performance also needs to be optimal. We can consider this as a truly bezel-less device because of the very small bezels.

The Vivo Nex is a powerful smartphone, with the high-end model boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of built-in storage.

Vivo is making some of the more interesting smartphones today.

Vivo is touting the AI capabilities of the NEX, with the phone offering AI-assisted scene recognition, HDR, filters, and photo composition.

The entry-level Nex A is priced at US$610. Like Samsung's Bixby, this too can be activated with a dedicated button on the side of the phone. We've been looking forward to a 100% screen-to-body ratio but we know it's impossible to achieve at this point. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Vivo NEX, while Vivo's Funtouch OS 4.0 is included on top of Google's operating system.

This is where the Vivo NEX comes in, a device that breaks all established notions when it comes to contemporary bezel-less design.
