Sen. Joe Manchin III, D-W.Va., is one of three red-state Democrats who voted a year ago to confirm Trump's first Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, and who Republicans hope will support this nominee.

Sen. Warren had previously called for abolishing the U.S Customs and Immigration Enforcement agency (ICE) during a Boston rally on Saturday.

Echoing her argument in an opinion piece was CNN contributor Dean Obeidallah entitled, "Abolish ICE" isn't about open borders" and suggested "all the problems with ICE emanate from one person: Trump.

This transcript has been lightly edited for clarity. "It is the policies, and the people making them, that need to change", said Murphy campaign spokeswoman Christie Stephenson. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans and unaffiliated voters by a 45% to 30% margin say it isn't aggressive enough. "And how that is done and in what agencies, I think we can have lots of discussions about it", he said. It also moved them from under the purview of the Department of Justice to Homeland Security, which brought along a new connotation that immigration - all immigration - is some sort of threat. But there will still have to be enforcement of our immigration laws in this country. He tweeted Tuesday, "When we have an "infestation" of MS-13 GANGS in certain parts of our country, who do we send to get them out? ICE!"

Looking for news you can trust? "We are a major country with major borders, so to me, the issue is what are those policies". "The Republicans are already trying to move the issue in that direction".

Georgia QB Fromm breaks non-throwing hand
Dawgs247 reports Fromm won't miss any time due to the injury and he is expected to be with his team for the rest of summer. It is a small fracture in his left hand, suffered when Fromm was on a boat earlier this week.

O'Rourke: I would start by ensuring that Dreamers - more than a million across the country, nearly 200,000 in the state of Texas - are immediately protected from deportation, and then on the same day, granted US citizenship so that they can contribute to their full potential. They don't know it's hard.

Why do people want to abolish the agency?

. I do not want that to come at the price of their parents, the original Dreamers.

Abolishing ICE might be popular among the radical Left, but it is a platform unlikely to win votes among the majority of hard-working Americans. Photos of illegal alien mothers with agitated children, unverified secret recordings of crying toddlers and a servile media pushing the narrative of the no-border interest groups made a "blue wave" election more than a possibility. It is CBP agents who have been charged with enforcing the administration's "zero tolerance" policy, detaining migrants and asylum seekers at the border and initiating the separation of undocumented families. He had reeled at the president's rhetoric for some time, but in the same vein as Boot it was Trump's border policy that finally pushed him to renounce the party.

Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed in 2010 by an illegal immigrant with a weapon obtained during the botched "gun-walking" program Operation Fast and Furious, in which the federal government allowed criminals to buy guns in Phoenix-area shops with the intention of tracking them as they were transported into Mexico.
