The 66-year-old film producer did an interview with Spectator columnist Taki Theodoracopulos at an undisclosed time and said that he has offered movie jobs only for one thing in return.

He said: "After 41 years as a Spectator columnist without a single retraction, I believe that I may have misrepresented Harvey Weinstein's conversation with me in NY last month". "I had nothing to do with the headline of my article and I hope I have not damaged his case".

Weinstein also confusingly compared himself to the article's author, Taki Theodoracopulos, complaining that he was not as good looking as Theodoracopulos and couldn't get girls to "look at" him before he became successful. "But I never, ever forced myself on a single woman".

After mentioning how no girls looked at him until he was big in Hollywood, he admitted to offering jobs in exchange for sex.

Theodoracopulos, who initially called the interview a "world exclusive", later retracted the interview, saying he "may have misrepresented Harvey Weinstein's conversation".

He recently pleaded not guilty to three additional criminal charges of sexual assault, while maintaining he has never had non-consensual sex, and on Friday it was reported he addressed the accusations against him and admitted to telling women he could make them stars if they had sex with him. He gave a more elaborate explanation to the Hollywood Reporter, referring to their interview as "a social visit".

As Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein faces sexual assault charges, he revealed just how common sexual misconduct is in his industry.

She knows how to play on this court. "Whenever I go out there, I just try to win my match". I think it doesn't matter against who she is playing. 'Yeah, she's a fighter.

He was indicted and charged with sexual assault earlier this year.

What did Weinstein's lawyer say?

He pointed to McGowan insisting Argento and her tragic boyfriend, the late Anthony Bourdain, had an open relationship. He was taken into custody but released after posting a million dollars' bail.

Brafman said, "Harvey and Taki did not discuss the case, nor would I allow him to. You have my word that Harvey did not say that", he said.

McGowan penned a letter last month urging people not to blame Argento for Bourdain's death.

Theodoracopulos wrote: "It was obviously not true, says Harvey, but dead men tell no tales, so the girls made it up. Harvey made a sketch of the twisted story for me and I couldn't help feel sorry for him", Taki wrote in the original column. He said that's the kind of Harvey he knew, the one who would hit on every young woman at the journalist's annual Christmas party.

"Hollywood has always treated women like dirt", Taki wrote.
