All 380 Premier League games played each season from 2019 will be broadcast by Facebook in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, where BeIN Sports now has exclusive rights.

Facebook had also an aggressive bid of Rs 3900 crore for the India digital rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

No figure was announced for the Amazon rights buy but it was released that BT will pay £90 million over three years for the final United Kingdom package of 20 live and exclusive mid-week games each season.

In six weekends time, the new premier league season will be upon us and we'll find out whether any potential signing has improved us as a footballing unit.

More Boys Rescued From Thailand Cave
The second phase of a rescue operation has ended for the day, with more than half of the Thai soccer team rescued from the cave. Another and perhaps more worrying concern was that oxygen levels in the complex were falling close to unsafe levels.

Amazon has recently acquired rights to show 20 matches as money keeps flowing into the English top flight.

Facebook's desire to move into mainstream sports was made clear past year when it bid, unsuccessfully, for the rights to the Indian Premier League cricket.

However, the Premier League's deal with Facebook in Asia will serve as further evidence that the league is keen to appeal to streaming services as well as traditional broadcasters.

It has also covered some Major League Baseball, college basketball and the occasional Champions League fixture in the United States through its partnership with Fox Sports.
