LeBron James is taking his talents to Hollywood. ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported this week that James would not be seeking elaborate pitch meetings during the free-agency process. "James will not attend this meeting".

"The one thing that I've always done is considered, obviously, my family", James said when asked about his upcoming free agency following the Cleveland Cavaliers' season-ending loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

For the second time in his career, James is saying goodbye to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who drafted the teenage sensation from Akron in 2003 and have to be satisfied with winning just one title in the 11 years they had him.

James has dominated the Eastern Conference over the last eight seasons. Conversely, speculation pointed to James signing with the Lakers.

"Yes, the Lakers are still favorites-but not total locks-to sign LeBron James, league sources say".

Additionally, Wojnarowski revealed that Spurs star Kawhi Leonard's "focus is unchanged" and he wants to join LeBron in Los Angeles next year.

As the National Basketball Assn.'s free agent period starts, all eyes are on James, whom many consider the best basketball player ever.

Firstly, media members had somehow gotten tracking details for his flight from Anguilla to Van Nuys Airport, which led to a flurry of photographers and reporters lining the fences of the runway awaiting his arrival. They can't sign with other teams for several days.

The Lakers have a young, talented but inexperienced roster and they were hoping to land both James and possibly George.

George returned to Oklahoma City for a party hosted by his Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook on Saturday and reportedly has agreed to stay with the Thunder.

On Friday, James formally became a free agent when he informed the Cavs he would not exercise his $35.6 million contract option for next season, making him an unrestricted free agent and the prize catch in the 2018 class.

Keep in mind this is simply just an opinion on Bonsignore's end, but it is a valid point since James being in Los Angeles at the moment is quite the coincidence.
