The Queen looked radiant in blue after missing the christening of her great-grandson Prince Louis yesterday.

Louis was carried into the chapel by his beaming mother, wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening robe, which in 2008 replaced the original that had been worn for all royal christenings since that of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841.

The newlyweds greeted the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, ahead of the christening service and Meghan, who shot to fame as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, was caught on camera giggling as she greeted the man who officiated her wedding in May.

Prince Louis' grandparents on both sides, Carole and Michael Middleton and the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, all beamed with pride as they arrived at St James' Palace.

As it is nearly two months since the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the couple are now settling into their newfound reality and life as a married couple.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to begin a two-day visit to Dublin later. The dress was belted and featured a boat-neck neckline, a favourite silhouette of the Duchess's.

She wore an olive green shift dress by American designer Ralph Lauren Monday, accessorizing the frock with a matching hat from Stephen Jones during the ceremony at St. James' Palace Chapel Royal in London, where Meghan was baptized earlier this year.

It was the first time Meghan has attended a royal family event like this, having become an aunt to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in May.
