On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is geared up to accord a rousing reception to the former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on their arrival in Lahore on July 13 (Friday).

Former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif are to be arrested at Abu Dhabi airport in United Arab Emirates (UAE) later in the day, according to reports.

Nawaz Sharif on Friday was sentenced to a total of 11 years in prison and slapped a £8 million fine (Rs1.3 billion) in the Avenfield properties reference while Maryam was sentenced to eight years with a £2 million fine (Rs335 million).

He is accompanied by daughter Maryam Nawaz, 44, seen as his political heir.

NAB has acquired two helicopters-one at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport and the other at the New Islamabad International Airport to transport the two convicts.

"Section 144 has been imposed for us while Imran Khan has been permitted to hold a rally in Defence Housing Authority", he said, adding, "You can do all the rigging you want, we will still win the July 25 polls". He said the arrested PML-N activists have been detained for 30 days under public order.

Effectively staying in the single market for goods, but not services, is unlikely to be an attractive proposition for the EU. Trump also said he doesn't feel welcome in London - and he blames that in part on the city's mayor, Sadiq Khan.

"Despite seeing the bars of prison in front of my eyes, I am going to Pakistan", he told journalists in the British capital where his wife Kulsoom is undergoing treatment for throat cancer.

Police say dozens of Sharif's supporters were detained "to avoid violence".

PML-N members have said the crackdown on workers who handle street level organizing will make it harder for them to stage rallies and protests on Sharif's return, when he will challenge the verdict and sentence against him.

The PML-N Supreme leader said the nation should remember the debacle Pakistan had to face due to conspiracies and East Pakistan was separated again the conspiracies can be felt in the air, now is the time to reveal the facts before the masses.

"WE ARE WINNING" Sharif's return comes at a time of dwindling fortunes for his party, which one year ago was considered a run-away favourite to retain power.

Sharif was ordered jailed after failing to explain how the family acquired the London flats in a case stemming from 2016 Panama Papers revelations that showed they owned the apartments through off-shore companies. His brother Shehbaz became PML-N's president, but Sharif remains the power behind the throne.
