Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is now at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, has been heavily linked with Los Blancos in recent months, with many expecting him to replace Costa Rica No. 1 Keylor Navas at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Thibaut Courtois in the wake of Belgium's knockout victory over Japan has fuelled the transfer rumour mills by suggesting his future could be up for discussion once the tournament concludes for Belgium.

Although Chelsea fans would have preferred reassurances from their No 1, Courtois went on to say that a decision would not be made until after the World Cup.

The Belgian, who spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid following his move to Chelsea in 2011, penned a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge back in 2014 which expires next summer. Courtois speaking to Sport, after his nation's last-16 win over Japan on Monday."I love living in London".

At 1-1, Fernandes missed his shot - only the second player to miss in any of the four shootouts at this year's World Cup . It set the tone as Croatia became the first team since Argentina in 1990 to win consecutive World Cup games on penalties.

"My kids are the most important to me". I have not seen them a lot in the last 18 months.

Leicester City and Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has become a shock target for European giants Chelsea and Roma, Sky Sports report. "The most important thing for me is my children, and I will make the best decision for me in everything". Chelsea however, are willing to spend around €70mn on Alisson and sell Courtois to Madrid to regain their expenses.
