I want to work with him.

Arsenal begin their pre-season on 14th July while their presence in the International Champions Cup ensures that they will face several high-profile opponents before the big kick-off against Manchester City.

"Each coach needs to know the players".

"I have information on the players from the club, from the people around me".

Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner have all joined, while Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Per Mertesacker are among those to have moved on - although the latter remains with the Gunners as academy manager.

Emery has been busy putting his stamp on Arsenal's squad for his debut campaign, with five players joining the club during the close-season.

Who will lead the Gunners on the pitch is just one of many questions Emery faced as he met the media at the club's training ground on Thursday afternoon.

Trump arrives United Kingdom for first State visit
The US Embassy in London has issued a warning to Americans in Britain to keep a "low profile" during Donald Trump's visit. Mr Trump and his wife Melania are expected to stay in London only for a single overnight stay at the USA embassy.

"Then, we are looking at who are the players whose personality is the best in the dressing room". I know this player here is very important for the supporters, he grew up here at Arsenal.

The 26-year-old revealed he even agreed to sign a financially reduced contract after several months of negotiations in order to commit his future to the club - and this remained when Emery succeeded Arsene Wenger as manager.

"I want to become part of the club's history and to achieve great things here", Guendouzi told Arsenal's official website.

"He is working with a quality, the type of ability that I want. He is an important player for me".

"I know him [N'Zonzi] but we didn't do movement for him", he said.

Guendouzi, a France U20 worldwide, said that Arsenal is his dream club, one that he wanted to play for since childhood. I explained to him my opinion and how I will want to create the team and not sure [I could] say to him he's going to play in the XI.
