Ex-NFL player Greg Hardy wasted little time in clinching victory in his second professional MMA bout, knocking out Tebaris Gordon just 17 seconds into their fight at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Gordon could do little more than cover up until a short right hand landed squarely on the temple and put him down for good.

Hardy signed a developmental contract with the UFC following his first win on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. "I'm here for business", Hardy said while stating his case for a shot in the UFC sooner rather than later. Hardy rushed straightforward and overwhelmed Gordon as he unloaded all he had.

"I did what I said I'd do". Hardy earned a developmental contract from the UFC after he knocked out fellow National Football League veteran Austen Lane in just 57 seconds at the season-opening event in June. "I was in a zone. I was going to keep throwing punches until it was waved off".

In the lead-up to the fight, White said on ESPN that the former Pro Bowl defensive end deserves a second chance. In his most recent appearance, "Boom" finished formerly unbeaten Marvin Skipper in the second round at Warfare MMA 17 in December 2017.

What would the Raiders accept in a trade for Khalil Mack?
They would have to jump through some hoops to make a trade with the Raiders, but it's not impossible. Something in the late-20s shouldn't really move the needle for Gruden and Co.

Hardy, of course, faced domestic violence allegations in 2014 and, although the charges eventually were dropped, was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2015 season.

Greg Hardy remains a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division as he continues to develop as a fighter. "He has to get some more work in".

Hardy has no problem waiting for his number to be called.

Hardy won't be making the move to the big show just yet but obviously the talent and athletic pedigree are definitely there for him to make waves in years to come.
