Silva allayed fans' fears that the deal may not go ahead with an announcement now expected on Friday afternoon.

The French publication claim that there is an agreement in place for Zouma to spend the 2018/19 campaign on-loan with the Toffees, but Marco Silva's side face a race against time to get it done before the 5pm deadline.

"It's nearly done, not official but nearly".

The Frenchman will miss out on the trip to Molineux alongside deadline day signings Bernard, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes.

However, according to Spanish outlet Marca, the Catalan giants will be granted first option on Mina if they want to bring him back to the Nou Camp in the future. "Of course at his moment it looks stronger but we have to work with all of them and gel everything and put them in our way to adapt them as soon as possible".

Rocket fault delays the launch of Nasa’s solar probe
Sixty years ago, a young astrophysicist at the University of Chicago, Eugene Parker, proposed the existence of solar wind. The current close-to-the-sun champ, NASA's former Helios 2, got within 27 million miles (43 million kilometers) in 1976.

Gomes also followed Mina to Everton on loan. Everything is the same, even the number of central defenders is the same.

We imagine, if needed, Everton will do the same.

"I do not trust that new players will arrive and I'm not confident in that so now I will only focus on the players I have", he said.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia explained: "He is a ideal fit for us this season, his style is well suited to how Maurizio wants to play and we are sure he will prove to be a valuable asset for the club".

The Colombian has been rumoured to be near a move to Goodison Park for at least a week now, but interest from Manchester United had derailed talks. He can play on the left, right and behind the striker.
