They will apparently be branded as 9th generation processors. They won't be the company's Cannon Lake chips based on the 10nm process as they have been delayed until next year.

The Intel Core i9-9900K will have eight cores and 16 threads on October 1, reports Wccftech.

Alongside the Core i9-9900K, Intel will reportedly launch the Core i7-9700K as the first eight-core Core i7 mainstream desktop processor with clock speeds ranging from 3.6GHz to 4.9GHz.

Keep playing, Tiger; keep driving and chipping and putting, fist-pumping and club-waving-but he's coming. Fans were scrambling to get a glimpse of Tiger Woods. "It has been a very hard week", Scott said.

The i9-9900K will reportedly be Intel's first 8-core CPU with 4.7GHz speed on all eight cores. The CPU is also said to come with 16 MB of L3 cache and Intel's UHD 620 graphics chip. Please refer to the table for the turbo speeds with regard to the Core i7-9700K.

Intel Core i9-9900K, i7-9700K and i5-9600K to launch in October - 08/01/2018 03:19 PMAlright, one more on Intel for today, I promise. There would also be a mid-tier Core i5-9600K processor with six cores, six threads, a 3.7GHz base clock and a 4.3GHz boost with all cores (4.6GHz with one).

Other 9th generation chips are planned, including an i5-9600, 9500, 9400, and 9400T, as well as an i3-9100, 9000, and 9000T. Z390 chipset motherboards are set to appear from the major motherboard manufacturers, but Asus, ASRock, MSI, and Gigabyte have already confirmed 9th gen Core chips will be supported on existing 300 series motherboards. Four cores can run together at 4.8GHz, and it can utilise 6 or all physical cores and still achieve 4.7GHz.
