On August 10, T-Mobile will released the T-Mobile Essentials plans with a starting price of $60/mo for a single line. And it comes wit a big caveat: it's always subject to slowdowns. Interestingly, T-Mobile said it will throttle Essential customers during times and in places with heavy network demand.

For $30/month for a family of 4 on Autopay, T-Mobile Essentials includes unlimited talk, text, and data. The carrier's other plans cost more, but have more features. T-Mobile Essentials does without the usual add-ons of global data access, unlimited mobile hotspot, and other features, in the name of keeping the price down every month. Called the T-Mobile Essentials plan, it offers only the basics, without numerous extras that T-Mobile has become known for.

Family members identified one of the victims as Nasim Ghanadan, who was a realtor from the East Bay and on the flight for work. The Cessna 414 is registered to an owner in San Francisco, according to Federal Aviation Administration records.

As for mobile hotspot use, that's also included, though not at the same sort of speeds as T-Mobile ONE customers might experience. T-Mo also says that if you switch to the new plan, you will lose discounts on service like free line promotions, but you can keep most device promos when you're getting monthly bill credits. Without the latter, each line will be $5 per month more. Also, despite being advertized as an unlimited plan, throttling still hits after you pass over 50GB of used data in a month. AT&T's cheapest unlimited option, called Unlimited &More, costs $70 for one line of service. If you'd like to upgrade to 4G LTE mobile hotspot, you can pay $10 per month to get 10GB at LTE speeds.

What do you think about this new offering from T-Mobile? For $60 per month or $30 per line for four lines each month, Essentials gives customers unlimited talk, text, and data on the company's network. The add-on now offers 10GB of 4G LTE mobile hotspot data, but that'll be bumped up to 20GB starting August 10th.
