You shouldn't play out like that against Manchester City.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has backed Petr Cech to keep his starting role against Chelsea and praised the goalkeeper's performance against Manchester City despite his struggles to play the ball out of the back.

Arsenal signed Leno from Leverkusen this summer but new head coach Unai Emery still opted to start Cech against City in their season-opening Premier League game. As it was, his pass across his own box went out for a corner.

Replying to the video, they tweeted 'in case you were all wondering how to play out of the back', posting a video of the recent departure Leno playing the ball out confidently from the back eventually leading to a Leverkusen goal.

"Saturday the decision is easy, Petr Cech will continue to start the match, I believe in him".

The Metro claim that Fabregas was still not back in light training on Monday and the Spanish worldwide is not expected to recover in time to prove his fitness ahead of the visit of Arsenal this weekend.

"Give him the time to try and implement his style of play that he wants". We can improve and we need to improve playing in the hard games.

"We need to work hard, we need to work together and we need to suffer together when we lose".

However, Nacho Monreal should be ready to start after taking part in full training all week, while Emery said continuing with right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner - who replaced Maitland-Niles - is also an option.

'I am very happy with his [Cech's] performance.
