Sergio Ramos continued his long-running feud with Jurgen Klopp yesterday by mocking the German for his record in finals - and his teammate Marcelo, sat next to him, couldn't help but chuckle.

As a result of their win over Liverpool, Real will now take on city rivals Atletico Madrid - last season's Europa League winners - in the European Super Cup on Wednesday.

When it comes to reigniting old rivalries, Sergio Ramos may well be the ultimate firestarter.

"Some of us have been operating at a very high level for many years, not sure Klopp can say the same".

Klopp recently branded Ramos as a "brutal" and "ruthless" athlete who is more like a "wrestler" than a soccer player.

"I'm not going to highlight this again", the Spain global said when pressed on Klopp's latest comments.

"You will want to justify not winning the final, but it is not the first you lose, but nothing happens".

Of course, not all the tweets responding to Trump's " Space Force all the way!" comment found humor in the situation. Vice President Mike Pence speaks to a Pentagon audience to announce the administration's plans to stand up a U.S.

It's been almost three months since Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 in Kiev and it seems that two of the game's protagonists just aren't ready to move on.

After a public and distasteful exchange between the pair over the summer, Ramos appears to have dealt the final blow to Klopp with his latest comments.

Klopp has reached a total of seven finals as a manager - four with Borussia Dortmund and three with Liverpool.

And though he revealed he voted for the Liverpool manager as Coach of the Year, he ridiculed his final failures whilst his colleague Marcelo reacted cheekily.

"He [Salah] kept looking for a chance to show his qualities as a player and he certainly found it at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp".

'I had no intention of holding Mohamed Salah's arm, but he grabbed my arm first.
