Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Sudbury

At 4:12 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located of Elliston-Lafayette, moving east at 15 miles per hour, according to the NWS.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of central North Carolina Monday afternoon, including Wake, Johnston and Harnett counties.
