A group of 11 colleagues hit the jackpot when their office lottery pool had the winning numbers for the $543 million prize in a recent Mega Millions drawing. Group members range in age from 21 to 60, and include a supervisor.

The group from an office in Santa Clara County has claimed the big $543 million jackpot.

Reyes said the group, whose members range in age from 21 to 60, doesn't normally do an office pool but made a decision to for the July 24 draw after hearing about the record jackpot.

Reyes was the lone member of the group the lottery identified.

Reyes said the group hadn't played any tickets in the previous 22 drawings as the potential prize climbed from $40 million. 'Hey, did you hear about the jackpot?

Roland Reyes was one of the 11 pool members who showed up to the California Lottery's East Bay District Office in Hayward on July 25 to collect the largest jackpot in the lottery's history. "We should play, '" Reyes said. "We have a good time and want to stay together".
