Taking to Twitter, the Gold star wrote, "On the auspicious occasion of #GaneshChaturthi, doing Shree Ganesh of India's Grandest Film: #2Point0!".

The teaser starts off with an interesting scene in which a mass destruction of cell phones is caused sending people into panic and signals an imminent danger to human beings. The teaser hints at an epic battle between Kumar's Dr Richard, aka Crow Man and Rajinikanth's formidable robot Chitti and its creator Dr Vaseegaran.

Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar's 2.0 teaser is finally out and after the long wait, we can say it was totally worth it. Akshay is the evil character destroying the city while Chitti takes it upon himself to save the world from an apocalyptic disaster.

'Monster' storm: Hurricane Florence is a rare threat in an unusual location
Executives in North and South Carolina , Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia declared emergencies earlier in the week. And it led to mixed signals from officials in SC , whose governor had canceled mandatory evacuation for several coastal counties.

The teaser from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0 is launched at 9 pm on September 13. We also got to see a glimpse of Amy Jackson, who is paired opposite Rajinikanth. While Nirav Shah has handled the cinematography department, Anthony has edited the movie, which will see the light of the day on November 29 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.

Superstar Rajinikanth hardly has flop films except a recent few, and its without a doubt that the film-makers of Robo 2.0 have done everything to make the VFX look as real and believable as possible. One of the major highlights of the teaser is its background score composed by AR Rahman.
