Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goals for Juventus as they beat Sassuolo 2-1 to continue their ideal start to the Serie A season.

His second was more of a typical "Ronaldo goal" - Juventus broke quickly which lead to a four attackers running at two defenders as the five-time Ballon d'Or victor sprinted ahead of Emre Can who carried the ball up the field.

He's off the mark!

Ronaldo turned the ball into the net from two metres to give Juventus a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute after a Sassuolo defender headed the ball against his own post and the rebound left the Portugal forward with an empty net.

Ronaldo signed with Juventus on July 10, with the five-time Ballon d'Or victor joining the Italian club on a four-year deal worth at least $340 million.

Douglas Costa may well have just taken the shine off Cristiano Ronaldo's first goals for Juventus after some truly disgusting antics got him sent off.

In the only negative note for Juventus, midfielder Douglas Costa was sent off in stoppage time after spitting in the face of Sassuolo's Federico Di Francesco, from point-blank range.

The Brazil global then appeared to spit directly into Di Francesco's mouth from point blank range and aimed a headbutt at his opponent.
