Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants to return to Barcelona before he ends his coaching career to take charge of the B team once more.

City have hardly struggled without De Bruyne, but compared to last season's cruise to the title, a draw at newly-promoted Wolves and a tight 2-1 victory at home to struggling Newcastle have represented a challenging start to the campaign.

Guardiola, who will be without the playmaker's service until November, has now praised the 27-year-old, revealing that he would not sell him for any price.

Asked if De Bruyne has a release clause, Guardiola said: "No I don't think so".

'(Leeds boss) Marcelo Bielsa told me he was his favourite player.

"The other day, I met his parents and you often understand how the children are when you know the parents". The clause is €250million. "I'm sorry, he is not for sale".

As if the storm itself is not risky enough, it is expected to spawn tornadoes in southeast North Carolina on Thursday and Friday. In the meantime, "treat the inland flooding just as seriously as you would the storm surge", said Clark.

This summer, former Barcelona midfielder Guardiola ruled out a return to coach the Barca first team.

And the 47-year-old confirmed he also has ambitions to try his hand at global management should the chance arise. "I want to try, for sure. if they want me. I've always been curious about it".

City view De Bruyne as central to their long-term plans as they target domestic and European dominance and the clause is a deterrent to would-be suitors.

"Yes, I've renewed. I'm really happy there", he added.

"Here [City] I feel very good, very protected from football", he said.
