Anthony Joshua returns to Wembley this evening in a heavyweight world title unification bout against Alexander Povetkin of Russian Federation.

The 28-year-old Londoner will put his World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organisation titles on the line against Russia's Alexander Povetkin.

This fight sees Joshua returning to the scene of arguably his greatest triumph, an 11th-round stoppage of former champion Wladimir Klitschko past year.

Joshua comes into Saturday's contest having won all 21 of his professional bouts, although his last fight, against New Zealand's Joseph Parker in Cardiff in March, saw him go the distance for the first time as a pro before he secured a unanimous points decision.

Povetkin, however, served notice of his formidable punching power with a sickening knockout of Britain's David Price on the Joshua-Parker undercard at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. "We both showed that against Klitschko".

"The one who's toughest will come out victorious".

Joaquin Phoenix in his Joker makeup is plenty creepy
Joker won't be hitting theaters until October 2019, but it's already generating a lot of buzz. The Joker film will also star Robert De Niro , Zazie Beetz , Marc Maron , and Frances Conroy.

"I just beat, in my opinion, one of the best heavyweights in Luis Ortiz and now I'm going for the next best in the heavyweight division".

"He's a proper fighter, he knows what he's doing", said Joshua, who owns the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts. The fight will show everything.

"Without that Klitschko fight, I wouldn't be as prepared as I am now", Joshua explained.

"I always look at it this way - if they're strong in the head then you take them out to the body and if they're strong in the body then you take them out to the head".

Challenger Povetkin was significantly lighter at 15st 12lbs (222 pounds).

"It's Chapter Two to a certain degree but I just feel relaxed and calm".
