American Keegan Bradley snapped a six-year US PGA winless skid on Monday, parring the first playoff hole to defeat new world number one Justin Rose for the BMW Championship crown.

Spieth, 25, came into the week in the top 30 in points but couldn't recover from a second-round 71 in which he was one of just six players to shoot over par.

Bradley shot a final round 6-under 64 to finish at 20-under par, tied with Rose, who lipped out with his potentially winning putt, which was just so close.

The victory also vaulted Bradley from 52nd in the FedEx Cup points standings to sixth, qualifying him for the season-ending Tour Championship.

"But at the end of the season, to say that I made it to the Tour Championship after what I've been through is a pretty good accomplishment", Woods added. "The belly putter was a tougher transition than I thought, and I kind of fell off the radar there for a little while". He has only missed one putt within ten feet the entire tournament, and it is probably because he had the chance to work exclusively on that while he was injured since he could not make full swings.

"It was the weirdest couple of days because I knew in the back of my mind if we didn't play, I was in Atlanta".

It was unbelievable play even finished Monday after rain soaked the course overnight and pushed up tee times.

Apple will no longer give free dongles with new iPhones
One of the most frequent criticisms we've heard about the iPhone X is that its 5.8-inch screen simply isn't big enough. Here are all the Apple devices that have received price cut after iPhone XR and iPhone XS launch.

However, a steady round proved not enough around a soaked Aronimink, with McIlroy's two-under 68 bettered by Rose, who shot a three-under 67, and eventual victor Bradley, whose six-under 64 took him into a play-off with the Englishman. The others are Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Singh, Kaymer and Johnson. He found a bunker on the par-3 14th for another bogey.

"I was just so happy to see them run out. It was hard to get ready to play because I was like, 'Man, if they call it, I'm good.' But I was only three back".

Woods took away any suspense of getting back to the Tour Championship for the first time since 2013.

Woods was referring to the special exemption that he was sure to get and unlikely to need in order to play in the championship he's won three times. Only the top 30 advance to the Tour Championship, marking the first time Spieth has missed the event since turning pro. And he will face a possible penalty from the PGA Tour for failing to play enough events this year as part of its field enhancement criteria.

That means he will have played only 24 tournaments this year, which includes the Ryder Cup. I obviously accept whatever fine it is and move on and try and add one [new event] every year.

Later Monday, U.S. captain Jim Furyk will announce one more selection for the Ryder Cup.
