Three Lions striker Marcus Rashford seems to have hit some form in the past week, finding the back of the net against Spain and Switzerland and taking his worldwide goals tally to five.

The England worldwide is now suspended for three games after being sent off for violent conduct in his side's 2-0 win over Burnley in their last EPL game.

"We have to remember that Harry Kane at that age had hardly played anywhere near the matches for Spurs", he added, emphasising that Rashford is yet to reach his full potential and will continue to improve.

"Even with some of the step-overs and things Ronaldo was doing at that age he wasn't converting them into the number of goals".

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is reportedly wanted by Premier League top clubs Everton and Chelsea.

"I'm really pleased for him".

Yet, he refused to criticise any of the top six managers, all of whom are foreign, for putting their own interests first.

"I understand the difficulties that club managers have".

"They have a hard job to do and they have big squads at the top six, with huge competition for places". Jose thinks the world of Marcus. "He's a huge admirer of him, but he's got his job to do", Southgate maintained. He's got huge competition for places at his club, so you can understand that (frustration).

Kane had just come through loan spells at Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City and, although he made his Tottenham Hotspur debut, also in the Europa League, having just turned 18, it was not until April 2014, when he was 20, that he made his first Premier League start - and scored.

"Right now I am at Chelsea and my focus is at Chelsea and learning at Chelsea", said Loftus-Cheek.

However, should regular game time be hard to come by for Rashford at United, he may be forced to consider a move in the future.

"You know you are going to play every week as the centre-forward and you know if you have a couple of games where you don't score then you are still going to play the next week", the former England defender added.
