The former premier's sons, Hassan and Hussain, will not travel to Pakistan for their mother's funeral.

On the other hand, MMA Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman also reached Jati Umra to offer condolences to Nawaz Sharif on the death of his wife.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had ordered to facilitate the Sharif family regarding the bringing back the body of Kulsoom and matters related to their parole.

Kulsoom was diagnosed with lymphoma previous year, barely a month after Nawaz was removed from office by the Supreme Court, which ordered him to face trial in an anti-corruption court.

A funeral for Kulsoom was held at Regent Park mosque in London on Thursday, as her sons, Hassan and Hussain, could not return to Pakistan.

PML-N leader, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (r) Safdar were brought Tuesday night to Raiwind from Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail on parole.

Shehbaz Sharif, the deceased's brother-in-law and president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), along with Begum Kulsoom's daughter Asma, grandson Zayd Hussain Sharif (Hussain Nawaz's son), and 11 other family members accompanied the body. The former CM himself drafted the parole plea to seek five days release of the three prisoners but it was allowed for 12 hours as per rules. The restricted area however has not been declared a sub-jail by the Home Department. "In case of a delay in Begum Kulsoom's funeral, the parole will be further extended", the spokesperson added. She was suffering from cancer.

The Punjab government on Wednesday extended parole of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter, Maryam, and son-in-law Captain (retd) Mohammad Safdar by four days, according to the Punjab Home Department.

Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will reportedly be laid to rest at Jati Umrah.

Her body has been moved to a mortuary near the Regent Park mosque.

Security has also been tightened around their residence and traffic wardens have been deployed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday left for London to bring back the body of his sister-in-law.
